The CACHÉ 2007 Web Development Framework, coming up from InterSystems next week, is being characterized by industry analysts as well-positioned for a data services delivery optimization role since it is an extensible framework that 's optimized for maximum development speed, scalability and deployment of data-intensive Web applications.
It includes, says InterSystems, an extensive library of pre-built components "that enables quickly creating and managing even complex processes and features such as grids, table handling, and selection trees, eliminating opportunities for developer errors, and making it possible to deliver top-quality specialized user interfaces with minimum effort." With this capability, InterSystems intends that CACHÉ 2007 delivers the benefits of technology such as AJAX along with object-based extensibility and a sophisticated "shared object" client/server data model that improves developer productivity. And, once the application is deployed, close integration with the database ensures the highest level of application performance and scalability. Along with a new tool engagingly named Jalapeno, InterSystems is also due to unleash Zen, a very simple AJAX app that the company hopes will abstract away the tedium of dealing with XML. |
